About us
In the mountains of North Carolina...
Our beginning was simple. It started when Tom Daily (Blue) and Avi Peterson (Red) met, designed and held two workshops at Deerfield Retirement Community in Asheville, NC. Our first one was a Red/Blue.
We then launched a network of like minded people who wanted to bridge the political divide. When we organized, Cathy Scott and Tom Rightmyer were elected to represent the Blue and Red Chairs, respectively. Then Covid hit! Since then, we have sponsored two online workshops, and three in person workshops.
We have now reorganized. Tom Daily is now the new Blue Chair and Bill Altemeier is the new Red Chair
We are back together. There is so much work to be done. We see ourselves as helping to depolarize America. We do this one by one. And the best way to begin, is by depolarizing ourselves! Come and join us, and bring others with you.
