Volunteer - NC Mountain State Fair

When: Sept. 5 -16
Location: WNC Agricultural Center, Fletcher, NC
Description:  We have a great booth designed, now we just need to fully staff it with 3-hour time slots ! (If you are not a BA member but would like to volunteer, email tlester@braverangels.org.   At the fair we will be engaging the public, informing them about various initiatives - Trustworthy Elections, Reds & Blues Going to the Polls, and the Petition for Elected Officials to Address Polarization.

Also, for those volunteers, we will have a  pre-fair Zoom meeting this Tuesday, 9/3 at 7:00 pm. Link to follow.  We'll run through all you need to know to spread the BA message!   

In-Person Introduction to BA WNC

When: Sept. 26, 7:00 - 8:00 pm
Location: Slyland / South Buncombe Library, 260 Overlook Rd., Asheville
Description: Primarily for those new to BA, we'll be sharing our methods, BA initiatives and introducing foundational skills.  A great way to introduce your friends other BA members. .

BRAVER NETWORKS

Join us in building a movement for civic renewal.

Braver Network is a network of organizations across the political spectrum working together to bridge the partisan divide. We’re committed to equal representation of reds and blues in the network, strong representation of independents and non-partisan groups, and a mix of national and community organizations. 

Our goal is national civic renewal.  By bringing “reds”, “blues”, and “others” together to speak freely and without fear – and to disagree respectfully - BA’s objective is “not to change peoples’ minds about issues but to change peoples’ minds about each other". 

No one will ask you for money. There are no required meetings. The only requirements are that you designate someone from your team to serve as a liaison to the network.
